In 1957, a family owned company was founded in Athens, specialized in the field of transformers winding and manufacturing. Its name was Elmet and has been building transformers of cutting-edge technology, proposed for various mission-critical applications like medical, military, naval, industrial and telecommunications.

With more than 40 years of continuous operation, deep knowledge and experience has been gained. The selection of top quality materials, combined with unique working skill, was a key factor that resulted in quickly boosting Elmet on the top list of power transformers manufacturers in Greece.

TruLife Audio was founded in 1995 as a small department of Elmet. During the early years, we had to face the 'irony' of the first generation of Elmet holders. You see, they could not accept the fact that the elders were involved in things that were pioneering half a century ago, like winding transformers proposed for tube amplifiers. They could not realize that at TruLife Audio, we managed to develop some transformer's characteristics that are critical to the reproduction of music. Of key importance is the careful selection of sophisticated materials and the technological point of view in winding the coils. Through our experience, we succeeded in making the transformer the strongest link in the amplifier.

Our scientific knowledge, combined with our great experience of live musical performances, being professional musicians for many years, helped us in 'final tuning' our amplifiers, in a way that the music lover will appreciate with respect.

What we sincerely believe we have managed to achieve with our products, is to convey what exactly characterizes the live musical event: light, energy, and most of all passion!
